I have 3 Gas pumps from the 1940's-50's. They are in damn good shape for what they are. And what they are is complete from the plumbing to the doors. They do need restored, new glass, and hoses, the glass globe for the tops, ect. The sockets for the light bulbs are still in the pumps and intact. They have ALL the plumbing, pumps, guts, numbers, site glass where the glass would spin the little wheel. I also have 1 parts pump, and 2 doors for a "Good Gulf" gas pump. I might have the Gulf pump I have to look again. All of these pumps are HEAVY! One has a stainless band around the base and is about 3 or 4" taller than the other 2. I will be reluctantly pulling them off the trailer (reluctant because they weigh so damn much) wednesday, power washing them, and then cleaning them up. I am not going to sand, paint, or remove anything as I talked to a couple of restorers and they said to leave them just as they are. The pic below is of one of the pumps I have, I will send pics of the other 2 and doors that I have to anyone interested.

You don't go on any site and post a "for sale" ad as your first post. You do an intro hang a while and contribite, then sell your stuff. Anyway I'm interested in the doors!

I agree, as I am a member of several sites that I post on. But If I took teh time to just post and hang before I posted the pumps, they would be gone and nobody here that digs old stuff would have had a chance at them. I assure you that I will be visiting the site often as I love old cars. There was no intent on offending anyone.

Gotcha, well I am posting and unless I get banned for being a newb, have no plans on not becoming a regular on the board. In talks with pops best friend to aquire his 49 F1 Ford truck for a build. He isn't going to build it he is 76 years old and finally decided to sell alot of his old cars. Would like to maybe make a gasser out of the old truck, I know that doesn't get done much and could be pretty cool.

Nobody gets banned just for being a newb. Good intro BTW, Looks like you have a lot to offer, there is a lot of knowledge on here, I learn something every day. Stick around and enjoy.

Blows me away how people can just look at something and just KNOW what the hell it is. 2 of us got a shop from a friend of mine with 3 bays with electric for 250 a month. We get to do work on it for the first months rent. My buddy has a 56 Gasser and a 72 El Camino SS with a big Block Caddy, he is younger than I but has been into the old cars for a while. Guys I am desperately needing to move these pumps to buy my first old car build. A 62 Buick. If you know ANYONE that would/could/like to own some classic pumps for their shop, garage, or anything and you get word to them I will take a reasonable offer and you will be helping a Newbie get into the old hot rods instead of the 70's-80's cars I am accustom to. If this is coming off as begging, it is because it is dammit! ;) I will also be throwing in one of those old deals where when they got oil at the station they turned a crank and then reversed the crank to fill quart oil cans. In dang good shape with the crank and all on it. Can deliver within reason or meet halfway as long as it isn't over 200 miles for me.
