Hatch, I'm not sure making Christmas ornaments out of popsicle sticks counts as "wood working". http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Where would one get a set of those nifty dual headlight stands? Come to think of it, I haven't ever seen that small of a headlight available either. Are they off road lights or something?

Aren't those dual headlight stands somewhat like the ones Barris put on the "TWISTER T" ? The small hemi powered T show car.

Theres a guy on here running those stands,Its an A coupe with a rocket motor, green, has a rocket 88 badge on the cowl side.
I think Barris sold copies of those dual headlight stands after he made them for the TwisterT

A company called Tornado Equipment used to sell a variation of those dual stands.

I saw these in Frankenmuth. The guy told me he bought them many years ago when a company, I believe he said in Flint, went out of business. He said he paid $15.00 for them. I had never seen a pair before.

Donzie, The place he was talking about might have been Kustom Equipment Co., a speed shop I used to frequent many moons ago and who sponsored our SS/EA drag car in 1967. They were a speed shop that not only stocked the latest in high performance parts but catered to the custom crowd to some extent. It seems to me they might have had some of those headlight stands in one of their display cases. I always regreted not scooping up some of their custom stuff when they went out of business. Some of you may remember OK Kustom Headers. The owners of this shop were the owners of Kustom Headers. At one time they were one of the highest volume header manufacturers in the country. The demise of the company is one of the saddest stories of greed I've ever known.
