Tim, none of these are exactly what you're after, but might give you an idea. Looks like the hood crowns on the separate body styles might make it kinda' tough. Cool old pics anyway.

ARGHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....those photos prove that change for change's sake isn't necessarily a good thing. 'Specially in the case of the 52-54 Vicky pictured. Oh, my GOD! It looks like they did their best to make the poor car look like a Willys Aero!
Tim, do you have a blower for your SBC spotted or what? What's with the "shorter carbs" post and the "hood skoop"post? [custom spelling] to clear a blower? Got a 6-71 in the works?

they must have some good ass weed in IOWA, maybe you mix it up with some corn stalks and pass it around in a cob pipe... DO NOT PUT A SCOOP ON YOUR SHOE... the new mustang may have gotten away with the look but thats because its based on the late 60's muscle that did run scoops.

if you were thinking scoops like the used to run on mercs... well then id be sitting on the fence. BUT DAMN IT TIM dont scare me like this.

COME TO MINNESOTA and Redpunk and I will punch louvers in the hood w/his punch ok????????

Go rent Cobra with Stallone. The scoop does not work.

I think the only time you should put a cosmetic" scoop on a hood is to accent a necessary carburetor clearance hump.
They are seldom functional unless they are right at the front edge because in the center of a hood you usually have a negative pressure area about 3-4" high so air would get sucked OUT the scoop regardless of which way it was facing.

(I only like functional scoops. OtherwiseI think they are "tacky")

There was a dude a local show yesterday with a 56 Vicky. He had a 55-57 style T bird scoop on it. It just didn't look right.
