Hi everyone,

Now that the warm weather and car shows and gone here in New Endland, I'm feeling the need to spice up my office here at work with some hot rod art.

I'd like to get some nice hot rod posters (any size) to put up in my office...I'm talking traditional hot rod and bonneville type stuff like Peter Vincent and David Perry do.

I wish they made poster-size prints, I get some in a heartbeat. Anybody know where I could get posters of high-quality images like this? I know some of you out there are artists, so do you ever create poster-size images to sell? I'd love to buy something from a HAMBer.

Thanks a lot.

Chris

Check the b/w stuff on my site. I'm currently upgrading it to start selling art prints over the net. Can print them up to around 16x20-ish if you see anything you like.

Contact SCTA-BNI. They have a ton of SpeedWeek posters from many of the last 20+ years. Very high quality and very reasonable.

Thanks everyone! I've checked out a lot of your websites, and you all do great artwork. No need to be ashamed of plugging your own stuff! I used to be a pretty-good artist myself back when I was younger, but I did't stick with it. Oh well... maybe I'll take it back up one day. I'd love to help support a fellow HAMBer so let me take a look and I'll let ya know if something really turns my crank. Again, thanks.

Peter Vincent has a 2004 calender out that is great.it's a big one and goes for $25, but is well worth it, just for the great pictures.

Although sad, I think this is perfect shot of "reality" and make a great poster.

Like SomethinWicked I think the artwork on this site is second to none. I am also an amature "artist", so it all interests me very much. Now for a little bit of spam. I've mentioned it before a while back that my town is putting on a city wide "cruise" day next July and they let me have a city street blocked off for a "Panel Jam". I have gotten what I thought pretty good response. The street they let me have is the street the fine arts center is on. Now they have agreed to work with me on having an automotive art show the same day and I think they will let put art displays inside the art center. My questions are; Are there a few of you that would be interested? and What would you like for me to provide? and Should there be awards by a panel of judges or participants, or just for display and sale only? BTW it will be July 17, in Anderson, Indiana. It is about 35 miles northeast of Indianapolis. I will have more info as the meetings progress. This has been very interesting for me to go to the city hall for meetings with the city "leaders". It is ironic that they are now coming to us for support. I realize that it is all about money, if they didn't see dollar signs for the city they would'nt want our help, But my thought is to take advange of it while we can. They might help us put on a pretty good event.

Take a camera to Bonneville. Bring lots of memory/film and snap away. I managed to get a couple nice shots out of the 600 I took. Here is the best. (my first trip with my first digital camera.)
