Well it counting down super fast, 22 days till the baddest drag racing event in Texas, I got stuff scattered everwhere, If I pull this off it will be a miracle

Had to much fun at the THAW - Lost a couple
pieces in the process.

Got all the parts off of the floor. Hope to get it on the street
within the next week to see if it goes straight.

I'll never make DOTD ( at least with a car )...Hell, I just hope to be ready for Pistons & Paint. I'll be in the bleachers and pits though cheering everybody on!

rear crossmember just about done, ladder bar front mount done, gotta make shock mounts toip and bottom, and then front suspension mounts, then onto motor mounts and steering this weekend, Hopefully set the body back on frame by Sunday to start on firewall

I have been bragging on My Homie Ghettoshelf's Blue oval prowess for quite some time. I have maintained that given the right platform, he could do as much, if not more than most engine builders in the area, with just what he asks for.
enter Jones. he has this kick ass little model A truck. with a worn out 302. well, it had a worn out 302 in it......
for the fast model A game in Austin, there is a dark horse on the horizon......

I have been bragging on My Homie Ghettoshelf's Blue oval prowess for quite some time. I have maintained that given the right platform, he could do as much, if not more than most engine builders in the area, with just what he asks for.

I can't really agree on the "fast" part. There's only one Model A in Austin that almost qualifies for that, IMO, and it's "retired".
Other than that, it seems like my little car has a target on it somewhere that doesn't show up in pictures. Seems like everytime I turn arround, I hear that somebody is gunning for me. Let Jones know that if he's gonna bring it, he'd better bring it. :) Let Curt tune his, you tune mine, and let's line 'em up.:D
Nothing makes me happier than guys spending a bunch of time and money trying to get a $2 patch. I'm just glad that more guys than just me "get it".

that was lux`s wife I beat Debra on the first run, then she got the hang of it and I couldn`t keep up the rest of the day we had fun though

I like this plan. this is a good plan. :D
I will say that the truck is "surprisingly quick". But You and I know what a healthy motor + not as healthy everything else tends to breed.....
