This is one of those shop tools that you look at and think you'd never find a use for it, but if you do - or are planning to do - any fabrication work you will quickly find lots of uses for it and it will save you tons of time.
It is a Pexto PS-66 6"x6" manual notcher/cutter. Used (obviously), but in great condition. Pexto is a premium quality USA-made tool company. Rated for 16ga, but I have easily cut up to 1/8" mild steel flat stock with it to make straps, brackets, backing plates, etc. Blades are sharp & smooth. Not the best picture, but it gives you an idea of what it is and shows a couple of the many pieces that I have notched on it. It is on a metal cart with metal casters. The notcher itself is cast iron and very heavy (250+ lbs). I have found these listed used for $700-1200+ on various sites, like this local MN dealer: http://www.interplantsales.com/Notchers.html.
I'm asking only $450 ... what a bargin! :)
Please send me an email to race128[at]gmail.com if interested.
Located in Buffalo, MN ... local pickup only - no shipping or delivery.
