I was needing to get an idea of placement, If anyone is running a SBC/short water pump, what is the dimensinon from the radiator mount hole to the center of you motor mount????

His frame is 5 inches longer than stock...to get this much room without cutting the firewall.

i have a model a with a 5" recessed bitchen firewall and from the back of the front cross member to the center of the mount is 13in. i can still get the distributer out and to all of the bellhousing bolts with ease

i got 14" from the center on radiator mounting bolt to the center on the motor mount, also i have 2-1/4" from the radiator surface to the heads of the bolts holding the fan on and 2-1/2" to the fan itself. any questions man, don't hesitate to ask, later. mike

my `28 tudor is 14-1/2" from the center of the radiator mounting hole to the center of the motor mount. this is for a full fendered car with a stock dimension frame.firewall reccessed 3"....if you extend the frame,it will have to be different of course
