'42 Plymouth super deluxe, 4 door. The pictures speak to the condition. Surface rust over most of the body. Two small rust throughs on the passenger side. One isn the panel in front of the doors and the second behind the rear door. Both repairs will only require flat metal. Two small rust holes in driver's side rear door that will be easy fills.
No interior. Some small rust through in the front floor boards. This is is few holes, not the entire pan with plenty of metal there for repair. The trunk pan at the trunk edge is also perforated across the majority of the seam. Again, flat metal repairs are all that are needed.
The engine and the transmission are originals, flat 6 and 3 speed manual. The car will lot drive with a gas can. Clutch still works fine. Brakes need to be reworked.
Passenger side fenders have damage, but I've straightened most of it out and will continue to work on it until its sold (or I put it on the road). Trunk lid has some dents and is off the car for hammer and dolly work. I'm probably going to have to remove the inner metal to get to the dents so that will be repair if Iget to it before the sale.
Fenders will need rechrome. Front grill is a very good piece and unique. Left rear tire does not go with the car, it's from my 40.
I have a few other pictures available.
I'm selling this because I have too many right now (14) and just picked up a 60 2 door chevy that I want to get to before this one.
