That ain't the "green bean". You done sold the original bean. Your going to have to think of a different name. If you went to Webster you could find a body there but you better get there early as me and DV8 are on a buying spree. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'll keep an eye open for ya. What you want 'glass or rust.

Great...another Fla. Mulletmobile.
Just kidding!
Can ya get some pics going? Would make for a cool tech.... "Building a roller". Show pinion angles, rear end locating, front axle caster angle and stuff like that. Seems I see a lot of questions for that stuff...usually followed up with a link to the Inland Empire Driveline site.

Ive had it!!!!!!! I set the body on. started to mount the front axle and I had the U bolts made to long..So I got new ones and then started again....this 40 axle and fucked up spring would have mad the green bean look like a gasser. So I said fuck it and merry x mass to me..I just ordered a 4in dropped I beam axle and posi reverse eyed spring from speedway!! its gonna sit in the dirt if I have anything to do with it!
thats the progress Ive made while Im "moving the shop"
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Antibilly
12-17-2003, 10:03 AM
I hope so as well.........Im itching because the floor insert was set up weird and the body would drop onto the frame and sit correctly. So I cut the bad spots out and the glass was everywhere. Ive already learned my lesson on fiberglass....No I gotta make this wonky seat insert seal up..Im waiting on the windshield post from El C and one good long weekend and Ill have it rolling
Fuck it sounds like you're having a week like mine.
I had to visit Tropical Tire this morning, the damn tire on the '60's gone kaput. It was damn scary.
It sucks having to spend money because of others stupidity.
I think the up in the air look coulda suited the T.
Isn't a dropped axle AND suicide mounting going to really drop the car TOO low?
Antibilly
12-17-2003, 11:34 AM
its never to low!!!!!!!
hey idea packi...buy some new tires??? stop running to week(weak) tires
they may last to weeks....they may be to weak to last http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I NOW have a Roller!!! yes the front ends set up, the rear spring is set on the axle, the rear radius rods are set on the axle. and the frame mounts are welded into place for the rear and mocked up for the front. I tried to send some pics along with this but have upgraded to XP and my camera dosnt work now!! anyhow its rolling and looking like a ROD!! tonight Im gonna set the motor in and set the front wishbones to the frame and adjust the front axle and rear axle into what would be called IN PLACE!!!
I love progress and promise new pics by tomarrow!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nads came by and checked out the progress and said some really kind words!! Thanks Nads for the Props!!!
also last night I set the motor in for set up ideas and removed it. I was cutting the wishbones and BAM!! one broke!
well after that I grabbed the catalog and ordered 37" curtis style frt radius rods and mounts!!
and the pics will be up some time today! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
It looks fucking great Mike.
It's too bad about the split wishbones breaking.
Man that's a scary thought, internal corrosion. Ya' gotta remember those things are hollow and they're at least 55 years old.
