I hate to think of parting with this, but I have other projects I want to do and have a chick to think about in my life besides me. (I know guys....but I am choosing girl over car). Yes, I'm a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club and such.
1955 Studebaker Champion sedan, original documented accurate 42,000 miles. Original factory interior. Runs and drives nice. No rust or bondo on body. Looks great for any show or cruise. Beautiful two-tone green paint with factory-option fender skirts. This awesome original car is the closest one can get going back to 1955 until time travel is invented. Everybody talks about an 'original' or well preserved never-restored car, but this one really is!
I've run and owned several Studebakers over the years, and I must say I've never seen an original outside of the Studebaker Museum that is quite like this one that hasn't been molested or restored but still so well preserved.
The interior is all original, including the original rubber floor mats, windlace, door panels, etc. I have NEVER seen another 1955 Studebaker with the original windlace still perfect. The roof of the car is original paint, lower portion is avery old repaint (30 years old) that has held up very well and still looks excellent. There is no bondo in the car, and not rot holes in the usual Studebaker rust places. Starts, runs and drives nicely. All the gauges work, heater and defroster, wipers, etc. Has years of old oil change stickers on it where one can follow the milage. The milage is indeed accurate. The car is not perfect, but for a 54 year old midwest car it's exceptional and one-of-a-kind.
$5,000 firm. Don't even try to offer me a couple hundred bucks for it. Please ask questions by PM only. Thanks.
