Hate to see this one go....

Up until 2 years ago, this car had been in storage since the 1950's. It spent 30+ years stored in San Bernandino, CA before coming to Tennessee where it sat in a basement for 15 more years.

The chassis was built by Kennedy's Hot Rod Shop (www.kennedyshotrodshop.com (http://www.kennedyshotrodshop.com)) using American Stamping rails. It was step-boxed & features a Model A front crossmember, Chassis Engineering center X member, and a tubular rear crossmember. The front suspension consists of the original '32 heavy axle that has been dropped & drilled, split wishbones, tubular shocks on F-100 shock mounts, & a Posies spring. The rear suspension consists of a 9" ford rear end hung on a Posies leaf spring with tubular shocks & Pete & Jakes ladder bars. Tires are new 4.50/4.75x 16" & 7.50x16" Firestones from Coker.

Brakes are F-100 in front & drums in rear. It has a dual reservior master cylinder. Steering is via a Vega box connected to a '39 column & banjo steering wheel. It retains the original '32 column drop.

The engine is a 1940 Flathead with an Edelbrock "Regular" 2x2 intake topped by a pair of new Stromberg 97 carburetors. It has a Mallory dual point distributor and a gorgeous set of one-off tubular headers. The T-5 transmission is mated to the engine via a Cornhusker adapter/clutch kit. Brake & clutch pedals are early Ford. The radiator is a new unit from Walker. Gas tank is a new unit from TANKS.

The body is in excellent condition with amazing patina. A "long ago" green respray has slowly let go to reveal Henry's original blue. There are a few dents & dings here & there with the worst of it being the hood top & passenger's door. The only rust is a small area in the right rear wheelwell. None of this caused enough concern to warrant repair. The top has a new wood kit and insert from Juliano's.

The interior came from a restored '32 & is probably a Lebaron-Bonney kit from 20-30 years ago. The seats are original '32 items. The dash houses new Classic Instruments. It is missing the passenger side garnish moldings.

This is an excellent car with a truck load of character. It is a blast to drive. Set up on a solid foundation, it is ready to be enjoyed.

$32,500.00. International buyers welcome.
