Hey HAMBers, well I havent been on this website much latley, lots of stuff going on in my life and just have been super busy.
Well I'm finally selling my 1963 ford ranchero. its a greatttt car, pretty rare here in bakersfield, I have only seen about 4 of them driving around.
The car itself is in pretty good shape for its age. There isnt any body rust, however the bed of the truck is a bit rusty.
Since my dad got it, he cut out the floors and replaced them, and got new carpet. The rear brakes went out in it once
and he replaced those as well, and i just replaced the front brakes not to long ago. However it is a bit mushy when you come to a stop.
The motor is a 170 Inline 6, 3 speed on the tree. Its really solid. The lifters need adjusting though, its running rough right now but I dont have the right tools to fix it.
Its completley driveable, you just gotta adjust them yourself and it'll run very smooth. The trasnmission was completley rebuilt and cost 700 bucks a few years back.
It has a glasspack exhaust, and sounds sooooooooo great when you shift it from second to third, it really 'roars' if you will. it always backfires when you downshift and will definatley turn heads.
The interior dash is really clean, the spedometer tends to not remain consistant, but everything else works great, heater included. There is an aftermarket radio and speakers already installed also.
It will make a GREAT project car for anyone. its my daily driver, drive it about 25 miles at LEAST a day, to college and home.
