 I just bought a Model A frontend locally and have a 51" Ford 8inch 5 lug rear and T-10 4 speed waiting for me in Texas.

I have decided to forego the Ramblers, at least for my first build and just K.I.S.S. The plan (for now at least) is kind of a combination of Rocky's Toymaker and BobW's Silver Bullet. I have been talking with a guy who has a couple of those 144 strokers like Toymaker is running. I would like to maybe to run 21" Model A wheels with motorcycle tires.

The fact that I am probably one of the younger guys here and I have not welded in 26 years should be fair warning to expect lots of questions. I promise I will try not to sound like too much of an idiot.

Thanks in advance for all your time and help, I am looking forward to talking with and meeting you guys.

*Oh and Tom (64 Dodge 440) don't worry I plan on lots of holes. As a matter of fact I plan to start with the holes and fill in where I need to. :)*

Welcome aboard, ScottV. Remember, a wire feed welder make an expert out of anybody! Sounds like you're off to a good start. I asked lots of questions and recieved valuable guidance during my build. The same is available for you.

Welcome to the insanity. Just remember.......the build is just as much fun as the finished product.:p (Some people think it's more fun to build them than to race them, I'll let ya know when we get to race ours the first time.)

Sounds like you have a good start, looking forward to seeing the build.
