I've got a few things this week. The first couple are new, the last couple I posted last week but now I have a bunch of sweet pics from a friend of mine that does photography.

This is Bike #86, the 3rd Year of the Chopper piece, a shovelhead sportster.
The bidding started today here (http://cgi.ebay.com/Bike-86-Dig-It-Shovelhead-Sportster-for-charity_W0QQitemZ180406448483QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH _DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2a010ff163&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14).

I did this today, I just felt like making a hot rod :D
It's listed in my online store here.

And these were bikes I posted last week. My buddy(Izthistaken on flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/30705352@N04/sets/)) does an awesome job shooting my stuff, there are a ton more pics on my site.

Happy rAt Show !

Welcome Picasso ! Cheers- indeed 3 cheers- for the de- flowered ! ( who'd've thought the first time could be so much fun ! )

Todd, Gary, Josh- Better & better & butter. I mean Better.

It's ALL looking VERY good !

Verily have I laboured upon this- a 1948 Holden.
Jolly handsome devil!

Where to start...

Bob, jdustu, Buick59, Todd, Hotrd32, Gary C, Spoggie, Every week you guys (and many others) produce THE coolest art with your own styles and visions. Keep up the great work guys!
Gabo and Picasso, Great work also, and welcome aboard.

Now, I won't hesitate to say I'm embarrassed to post my latest piece for some reason, but without failure, their would be no success. All apologies for the OT content, but it was a commission job for a guy who owns all the cars and wanted them in a certain setting.

Spoggie
09-11-2009, 03:44 AM
Hey Sinister, your piece draws the eye in an attractive way- so half the battle won there. I find the big picture harder than the details. The time of day chosen ( 'round sunset ) is harder to accomplish but usually real good if you can pull it off. I like the way you have the light.
BTW- I like the Electra Buick '73, MGTD, Prowler, Plymouth '28 & P/U truck. Covers the field nicely. I've got a basket case Holden ( same model as the drawing I did above) and a 302 '72 Falcon daily car.

KCSledz, really into the designs you do! Love to see them every week!

Sonny...amazing frankie, just when I thought I've seen you're best, you pull out another awesome piece of work!

Norwell, you're just too lucky...although Stanford is one of the greats, I think I would rather have one of your originals!

Here is what I did this past week...it's not quite on topic, but it represents good old fashioned sign lettering and haircuts. If you are in Denver go look up my friend Brian at Ollie's for the best haircut in town. He specializes in classic fades, flat tops and anything else your dad or grand-dad wore after the war. He also carries LAYRITE products, so you won't have to order it online and pay shipping!

Again I say, Friday is my favorite day!
I love this art show and all the tallent. You guys are awesome!
So the big boss, Jim is retiring here in the Body Service Group at GM.
He too is a "dustyoldbodyman"
It only seemed fitting to flame a fender for him and do a little ditty on his old side deal with his best buddy Brian.
The flames are Kandy pagan gold and Kandy Tangerine, the sign part is Kandy Red and Kandy Pagan gold. One shot for the lines and letters, Shop Line fast panel clear for the top coat (gotta sneak up in that one shot with a ure clear). Kinda fun...

Wow, awesome start to the show this week...I took a couple of snapshots of the stunning 1937 LaSalle Opera Coupe built by Johnny at Kool Cat Kustoms (http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/www.koolcatkustoms.com) here in San Jose.

These are a couple of "artsy" pics I took at the Primer Nats this past weekend. I know they're not that great, but I'm trying to learn.
