4 years ago my wife got me back in the hobby, after an 18 year hiatus. We purchased a low mileage, rust free original 48 olds coupe, flathead straight-8 and all. The next year we got a 41 Willys coupe with a 468 BBC, that is NOT Pro-Street! It is jacked in rear with wide tires outside the fenders, 1970s style streetrod, and now, the new garage is over full, also containing a 30 Ford Cabriolet, steel, rodded in 1979, my wife's immaculate 93 LeBaron convert., and a 34 Ford roadster, old style rod. It has a 52AB flathead with a pair of deuces on an Almquist manifold, 39 Ford tranny and rear, custom vee'd windshield, etc. I am currently spending a bit of time trying to get it running again. It was running well last fall.
I love most types of rods and older AMERICAN iron, but can't stand these kids in their 90's up imports with their ugly rubber band tires, chainsaw exhaust notes and million amp stereos!
