Do they ever go away? I have some old Continentals and they have flat spots. I'm all over the damn road.

Yes. Drive 'em hard to get them real warm. Now don't try a John Force burnout, That'll wreck 'em. Do htis a few times and your golden.

The flat spots on my last set of bias ply's came from sitting in one spot for over 10 months a time and then driven for a day and repeated 10 months later.
Although the flat spots never went away, where the tires had rested eventually split at the sidewall on me and it was a pain in the ass on labor day when everything is closed. I think the vibration from the flat spots will be the least of your worries.
The flat spots won't go away, but then again, they arent getting worse http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

move the vehicle weekly, My roadster was bad during the colder months because I wouldnt drive it as much, I would put the floor jack under the diff and un weight the rear end. the front didnt seem to be a problem because they had a higher air pressure, my slicks only had about 10-12 psi in them and flat spotted if not driven.
