Yes this is the very hard to find 1960 Mercury monterrey cruiser 2dr hardtop with the big 430ci motor and mercomatic trans. It is a very soild true soca car plus it is real straight. It also already has air suspension with on board air pump, guages and switchs. It 430ci motor runs very well and the trans shifts solid, It is also curnently regestered up to date here in ca. We were going to build a real nice mild custom out of this rare monterrey crusier but our customer has just got sent back to the middle east so the Merc must go. This car is complete we have all the bright metal trim, grill, tail light lens. We recently started to strip the car to prep it for custom paint and uporstrey. We have only found light surface rust starting to showing thru the about 5 year old primer. It has power everything. The old owner just had that big 430 motor, radiator and some front suspension parts rebuilt right before the new owner or our customer bought it.
Now for the bad stuff. It has a craked windshield and it is not an factory ac car.
With a little work this 1960 monterrey cruiser could easily be a show winner and also make a very nice daily or weekend driver. To be totally honest if I was not so bussy I would finish this one for myself as a keeper.
