i am reluctantly putting up my 59 wagon in hopes to buy another car that I want.
it is a 59 ford country sedan wagon. it has a 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the column with a fresh tune up, valve adjustment, and a pertronix ignition. this car runs, stops, and drives very well. I have put about 1000 miles on it since memorial day.
i stripped the roof down to bare steel,and sprayed it dark caramel metallic base/clear. the body is still the same color white it was when i got it.
i installed new front springs, front and rear shocks (air shocks in the rear), and lowered the car 3.5 inches all the way around. it has good thin white wall tires on steel rims.
the floor has had some panel repair, and i covered it in por 15 to seal the metal.
i am selling or trading this car to buy another station wagon, 60 or older with a v8 automatic. or another interesting car that will pull my vintage trailer. gimme a call if you got something, or want more info on the car.
