I wanna take my truck to the next level so I'm putting my Bel Air up for sale. I'm not late on the mortgage or desperate, so don't mess around.

First off it's a four door with 87k original miles. Here's the good, rebuilt carb, new fuel filters (2), new plugs, new plug wires, new points, new rotor, new condensor, new cap, new water pump, new battery. Newish brakes. The exhaust is in good shape with a new glass pack and chrome tip. It starts, runs, shifts and stops good. No drips underneath.

Wheels and tires are 14" from a nearly new '61 Impala. They are bias ply wide whites. They came off the Impala in '61 with just a couple of thousand miles on them and were stored inside since then until I put them on my car. It's lowered in the rear 3" with new blocks and Ubolts.

The interior is in great shape. It has brand new vintage seat covers from the early '60's and new foam in the front seat. The front and back seats sit like new. It has brand new door panels. All chrome and stainless inside is in excellent condition. It has new carpet. The dash is excellent. All galss is there and excellent. EVERYTHING works as it should. The floor is great with foil insulation under the carpet. The only thing the interior needs is a headliner and I may do that very soon. The headliner in it is ok, but with a couple of small holes and kind of dirty. You could run it as is and be fine. Other than the headliner, the interior is awesome, not show car awesome but definately driver awesome.

The body has a couple of typical small dings here and there, but overall nice. The paint is original and still decent. ALL chrome and stainless is there. Two nice '53 hubcaps and skirts are included. The trunk is excellent with no holes. Brand new (restored) 1953 NC license plate is also included if you're from here. If not, I'm keeping it, lol.

Now for the bad. It will need both rockers replaced. It will need patches just above and behind the rear wheels. It has a small exhaust leak in the header. A new gasket should take care of that. You can probably assume the valves need adjustment, but it runs good. That's about it. Overall, a nice more door driver.

I'm looking for $4,100. I may consider partial trades for a pre-'60 Chevy pickup or brit bike or sporty project. Or maybe something else cool. But, I'd rather have cash to take my pickup to the next level. I'm easy to get along with, PM me for a phone number if you're interested and we'll talk. Any locals are welcome to come by and check it out/drive it in person. If you're not local, you're welcome to send a local hamb'er to check it out for you. I'm willing to ship if you're far away including overseas as long as you make all the arrangements.

Thanks for looking and thanks for this great forum.

***EDITED TO ADD***
I also have the original 15" wheels to go with this too in addition to the wheels/tires on the car. No extra tires, just stock steel wheels. Also forgot to note this is a 235 powerglide car with the full pressure oil system. Also, the bumpers and grill had been painted silver at some point. I've been slowly removing it with fine steel wool. You can see what's underneath on the bumper guards.

Bump. This thing is a driver. I'll consider trading for almost anything cool. '60s caddy, hamb friendly stuff, non-hamb-friendly cool stuff like round headlight monte carlos with the swoops ('73 '74), traditional lowrider type cars, white trash camaros, pre-'60 chevy or gmc trucks, '73-'87 chevy trucks if they look right, any two door impala, basically anything cool-year of manufacture unimportant. Ideally I'd like something running and driveable, but I'm not afraid of a little work either. And of course, cash is still king.

Bump. Still looking for cash or almost any kind of trade. You can trade me straight up or trade me your driver/project plus your cash. I don't have cash to put on top of my trade if yours is worth more, all my cash is going into my pickup. I'd prefer something driveable, but that's cetainly not a deal breaker. The list below is what I like, but I'm not married to it. I'm just looking for something different and cool.

Here's what I like...
Triumph bikes (chops, stock, projects or basket cases), Sportsters (chops, stock, projects or basket cases), HD Shovelheads (chops, stock, projects or basket cases), almost anything Chevy (trucks, wagons, or two door cars), '60s Cadillacs, pre-'57 Ford trucks, '50s or '60s Ford two door cars, HOTROD projects, '88-'99 Honda Civic Hatchback ( GASP!!!), etc..

The ideal trade would be a '55-'59 Chevy big back window truck. Whatever you've got to trade, give me a shout. All I can do is say no. I'm just looking for something different to get excited about for my next masterpiece.
