Hi, My names Darryn, from New Zealand, Signwriter/Artist, I am from a family that has been involved with old cars, pickups and old logging trucks for many decades. My Grandfather had a couple of old 30s Ford V8s on logs in the 40s, he had fords and Studebakers as transport thoughout the years. Our family has a 41 Ford pickup, that has been in the family for 50 years, a 39 Ford coupe for 40 years, and a 1926 Model T Sedan 2 door for about the same period.
I look forward to viewing other members photos and stories, I think I have found heaven with this website:D, some cool stuff on here.
I will start a thread on the 41 Ford pickup along with other vehicles we own and have had. I will also add some old car art and pinstriping of mine to threads, and if anyone is interested in old trucks with Detroits, like International R190s, that share the similar curves to hotrods, I guess they are the hotrods of big trucks, with their screaming motors.

cheers Darryn, aka ARTMAN

Thanks Kuztom, the pickup is used for garden rubbish and getting the odd load of firewood, I use it around Rotovegas, have got to get it vinned has been in barns and sheds the last 20 years, the rego wasnt put on hold, so its off to Tokoroa, soon for vinning, at the moment I just look the other way when i see the cops. Bills museum has some cool stuff, that Texaco tanker is the one the American Fuel company is after, open cheque book offers, but have been turned down, I think its the only one left in the world. Your single spinner looks cool, i want a custom 49 Ford one day. cheers ARTMAN
