54 Pontiac Chiefton

This is a 1953 Pontiac Chiefton that I have for sale, the car is painted John Deere Satin Black, has 17 x 8 torque thrust wheels and 245/45/17 tires, this is a project/roller most of the hard stuff done, the front seat was re-done in black, the trunk pan is new, floors are solid, frame (X frame) is solid, has a re-cored factory radiator in it, I am looking to what get what I have invested in this $6500 ....NEW TITLE..... I have applied for a title with the State of Illinois and will mail the signed title to the new owner once I get this in the mail, usually takes 5-6 weeks Will have it in January 2010.

This car is Solid and the drivers side is just as solid and straight, car is on dollies an in the builiding I am at space is limited so taking a picture of the drivers side is difficult.

Update painted the front and rear bumpers argent silver and cleared them as well as the headlight trim rings.... I have no grill (never did) If I do not sell by end of January them I put a motor in and the price goes up...

I made a typo it is a 1953 Pontiac Chiefton, here is an update I am having the orginal flat-head-6 built, block will be decked, head milled, stainless steel valves, custom ground cam, forged pistons, ARP rod bolts, custom header and sheet metal intake for a 4barrel, this should be done by the end of November, so the price has gone back up to $6500 with the motor.... or $4500 less motor, will include a turbo400 adapter plate ...

Applied for Title with ILL Dept of Transportation and should get title by end of January will mail to buyer.....

For those whom are interested, and why I did not get a Title with the car, the original owner lost the title (he is 80 years old) and the state of Illinois does not keep records/titles of cars prior to 1975 so if a Title is lost you have to apply for a new Title (which I did) with the Sec. of State for ILL, this whole process take 8-12 weeks, I will mail the title to the buyer once I get the document from the State.

Back on the market, local buyer paid with a check that bounced, I have the car back up for sale, bottom line is $4000, also I was contacted by the original owner and have a original State of ILL title.....
