I think I have a 350 I could do that to. Cept' I would have to paint the block instead of polishing it. Would prolly' still look cool though.

Actually, all stripped down and dry...more like 125-150lbs (no crank, no cam, no lifters, etc.). Anyways it's sitting on the floor anyhow so who cares. Besides with all that um..ballast, it wont tip over when ya' put your feet on it http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That is freakin' sweet, I love it. I wanted to make a table out of an old flathead motor I had, but it didn't work out. A V8 would work much better though....

the glass top, pistons/rods as the tops support and you might be close the 200pnd mark... using stock pieces http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

what would be cool is to get a race motor (mountain motor perhaps??) that had a rod tossed through it... that would make for a fun coversation piece while having people over for a *2 12'r fer $2.00 at the local wal-mart, tasting party*

Use one of those lightweight dummy blocks and put whatever intake, headers and heads you want on it.
