I decided to head down to the old neighborhood for the weekend and take in the show and swap at the Belmont Racetrack. Demographics have certainly changed but the rest just looked a bit older. It's been around 30 years since Ive been down there. At least my old home in Valley Stream is still in a nice area and looked well maintained.
Best part was meeting a guy I used to race against at the old Freeport jalopy track. We spent time way into the wee hours talking old times and who is still around, etc.
With lots of billet and mostly later models on display these 35 wires went begging in the swap section. Four are near mint and the other two are solid but need some spoke work. Cant complain at $50 for all 6.
