I got about 2 miles from the gate at about 10:15 and the highway was backed up! I didn't expect that kind of turn out. You and your guys and gals did a great job!

Ryan, as a local this is just a thought for next year.

You might consider routng everyone north from Joplin on Main Street (highway 43) to highway MM West. This is a two-lane blacktop that is not heavily traveled and joins up with Highway 171 just south of Mo-Kan.

Just a thought.

We sat in line for over an hour and a half (not complaining) I'm sure the local authorities had something to say about the gridlock not to mention the truckers...Worth every second of the wait ;)

Sorry, should have been highway 43 to county road M west. That runs directly into the MO-KAN drive way!!!!
