Pulling into the host hotel last night I heard a hard clunk from the front under braking.
Does anyone have a lift I can get my truck up on to do an inspection?
How about front end alignment equipment or a good shop to recommend just in case?

MoKan Man has my back!
I think it may be something as simple as the anti-roll bar hitting the bumpstop on the frame. Nothing too tragic :) I am going to take the offer to get it on a lift to make double sure.

So what did you find out and how did the truck run up to that point?

Just I40 / I35 or did you stop at an autocross event in route?
Killing me not to be there.

Miles, it's perfect here... LOL
Got it fixed. The guys over at Comer's Exhaust let me use the pit and found the left rear shock stud gave up. I would put money on the OKC section of I-40 as responsible for that, that highway sucks!
We sawed a bit of the bumpstop tab off for extra clearance. Seemed good when we left but still made the clunk. We stopped off at a car wash and just thought to try and tighten the upper control arm bushing nuts, got about a half turn out of each one and it's all good now.
Beer has been bought, just saw FlamedAbone and DW show up. The drags are on!
