And I quote from Street Rodder's Dec. '03 issue, wherein it says......"trimmed the Glide Engineering seat and custom aluminum center console in taupe Lexus leather."
LEXUS LEATHER???????????? Is this some kind of new animal from Japan who is giving up its hide for car seats?
I also see mention of "Lexus wool" so I guess the sheep are different there too.
By the way, its a great car being described. Its the brag lines that Gagmewithaspoon with this Lexus BS.

Hell, the Beef is even better there. I did some Stainless work for a High-End Restaurant a couple years back. While I was there, the owner showed me a $115 Japanese Steak. Said it was Japanese Hand-Massaged Beef. A customer had special ordered it and it was airmailed from Japan.
I didn't ask him if it was massaged before, or after it was dead.
It was massaged as it was in a chemical induced coma.

I thought the Japanese didn't believe in using Chemicals on their Food? Remember that big stink about them not buying our Apples a few years ago?

For $115 the massage better at least be until I need glasses. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Sounds like Kobe beef. The cows are fed BEER and have BEER rubdowns. Carefully raised so as to not injure the meat. It's great beef, but way too much work raising them. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I prefer the hide of the great North American Nauga. Not as fancy, but then it doesn't crack when it gets cold like that fancy leather plus beer & puke wipes right off after ya take your buddys home!
