Hey everyone, I just joined the HAMB and I love it. I'm 25 years old and just finished my first custom. I'm now helping a friend build a '47 chevy coupe. You can see my car at http://groups.msn.com/SmithsWayfarer or I'll try to post a pic.

thanks 30roadster, the surround is the stock top and bottom grille bars. We had a sheet metal shop in town make the side panels with the same profile as the top bar. It only cost $45 for both sides. The grille is a repro corvette. I can tell you one thing, it looks a hell of a lot better than the stock one.

This is the proof that early fifties Dodges and Plys CAN be turned into really NICE CUSTOMS. Congratulation and have a good time here.

Jivetalker, how did you get the picture to post? Is there any way you could post the side shot of the car too? Thanks to everyone who has been so welcoming
