1957 4door Sedan, been sitting up for about 15 years. was restored approximately 20 years ago.
Car is in overall decent shape.
problem areas are:
the for corners where the roof meets window trim,
drivers side rear rocker panel.
All four floor pans need replacing but the drivers pan is the only one you could lose a foot through.
Passenger side just behind front wheel has some cancer starting to bubble through
surface rust in various places
front bumper and fender is bent just in front of drivers side wheel, result of pulling it from field
needs new carpet
antenna hole was shaved, but bondo is cracking. antenna is with car
What the car does have that makes it great
99% trim, only thing I can find missing is a small corner piece at the rear window.
all glass, driver door window is cracked bad but replacement is in the trunk
decent seats
1957 Belair
Electrical system is in decent shape, all lights work. 1 blinker bulb is out. whipers work as well.
Automatic Steering Column. car has 235 6cylinder and auto tranny, but I am wanting to hold on to motor and trans
Forgot to get a picture of the front end, but like the rest of the car it is in great shape, front bumper will need to be rechromed, various pieces of the trim are pitted and will need attention.
