When I was at the Pile-up Lukester had his lil chevy pickup with 6 carbs on a W motor. I said to him "are you gonna let me sit in this thing or WHAT!" He said "Get in there and fire it up" So I did, it sounded a lot like that video except I wasn't moving. AWESOME!!!!!!!

There was no rock star to warm my seat but I was riding shotgun in that video of Ryan's car...that video caught about half of what went on. His foot stayed in it until we had swapped lanes a few more times...I almost cried like a little girl.

Then you might have to download the file no problem hold control and click the mouse on the link and save link as. or if you set up internet explorer to use windows media player to play those files even better. Here is the motor info. Just seeing this video clip cost me $1400 tonight. I bought a 331 Hemi with Jahn's pistons, 6 strombergs, and lasalle tranny tonight because I loved the way this thing sounded...that clip was awesome....

The block is an early 331cui that is bored 0.125 inches by Reath Automotive. The heads are 354 industrial pieces. The valves are original ones, which are actuated by an original Sig Erson top fuel solid lifter cam, which is reground by Clay Smith. Further, the motor runs a stock crank on which Jahns pistons with a 10.5:1 compression are mounted.

All this is backed by a McLeod clutch and an early cast iron Borg Warner T-10 transmission, a custom Unitrax driveshaft and a tri-year Chevy rearend. 8 Inch Hurst cheaterslicks on '49 Chevy steelies bring the power to the road and up front Good Year Speedgrips can be found on Halibrand spindle-mount wheels.
