Is there a class listing that I could register in for my 68 Firebird F/C? We have just finished up this car and am trying to get it out as much that I can, liscensing passes will be made this weekend. Took it to Norwalk Oh for the Pontiac nationals this past weekend and had a blast, ran a clean and straight pass 8.61 @159.8 on the 1st run on a 1/3 throttle stop. I would like to bring this out to Joplin, just up the turnpike from here in Tulsa. Thanks, Bill

I love that little car. I have seen her on another site.
As far as running her at teh Drags....that's an intresting question. We are pretty hard on teh pre-64 rule, but for a funny car, the powers that be might be talked into streching it.
Kind of a slippery slope though..If we strech it for one car, we should do it for all but then it kind of loses it's original intent...
I'm all for it, but you should definately talk to Ryan and Carl.
Even if you don't run, you should still come anyway. It's a hell of a good time, theres fast cars, beer, chicks, everything you would want.
See ya, -Abone.
