thanx guys that helps alot, trying to figure out how i want to build the frame for my cdan. i know it must have suicide front, bones ,drilled axle, and wire wheels. ive got a 50 merc flatty but am debating on small block and 4 speed for a real ground pounder, but hard to beat the 40's look with the flatty. i think i will go for a 60's type look instead. so thanx fer the pics.keep em coming if ya want

I have another question that goes along with Roots, what does the interior look like with placement of seating, frame, suspension, fuel & battery.
The reason i am asking is i think the HBomb's is the shizit and this is what i have to start with.

i love these sedans chopped, channeled, sliced and canned. But only one thing I don't like, when the driver looks like a dog fuckin a football when he gets in it to drive!Same as Any other car thats channeled lots, especially roadsters. They look kill sittin still but when the driver gets in it and the tops of the doors don't even come up to his beergut then its plain ugly.
There was a kill gray primer one on ebay couple of days ago,had lime green mill/wheels etc.just my $.02.......Shiny

ah the copper one ... I really like this!

does it have a chop? I don't think so ... probably a more practical channel job ...

Laverda the green sedan in your post was on Ebay a few weeks ago. Seems like it was like $25-30k to start. The car is KOOL http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif but when I saw it in Street Rodder earlier this year it looks like about 5 minutes is all that any human could stand in the seat.

I believe the copper sedan has been mentioned before & a HAMBer knows the owner ... I think. I only have one more pic of the car .... I am also after as much detail on the car as I can get. A combo of the copper & the green sedan (with a dose of practicality) is the vision I have for my '28.
http://photo.starblvd.net/~laverda_jota/1-2-3.jpg
The green sedan is a bit much ... I think it was an 8" chop & a similiar channel. It also did not sell on eBay.

i am contemplating a similar channel job on my T sedan, but what i would like to know is if any of these cars actually run a back seat?
i need to run a back seat so i wont be able to channel so far.
any interior shots of any of these cars, specifically showing the rear seat area?

I love that copper car, freakin' beautiful man. I'll be modeling mine similar, not a copy, but I like a lot of the styling cues, very nice. Here's one I have of it.

Here is the 'see thru' layout of the sedan I'm building. In this drawing the wheelbase is 111", but I have redesigned the beast to 103" and changed from an underslung rear to a standard 13" z'd frame. I'll post the new frame design soon.
To solve the problem of getting in and out of the car, the roof panels are attached to the doors and open as one. This way I can literally walk into the car and sit down.
What wheelbase are the rest of you 'A' guys running?

Well I've been trying to not post on this, but how can I not? Most of you have probobly seen my recent A Sedan pics, and are sick of seeing it, but it IS as low as an A Sedan can be short of using a shovel. Its bagged front & rear, 7" front z, 19" rear kick. The roof is 40" with the bags aired out. No its not easy to get into:D

i like your design, the really crazy thing is that your headers are almost a dead ringer for the ones I designed for my car (like last night at midnight). I even did the underslung frame design in the rear also. I want to build my car so I can fit 3 poeple in it. looks damn fine. if I can find a scanner I will put the design up here.
