Hi all. I have this very cool 1950 Chevy Panel Truck.
It was recently on a popular internet auction board.
I had acouple of strong hits on it, but it didn't sell. (money is tight
for everyone these days.)
I owe about $8000.00 on it.
If anyone is interested, I'll consider taking a good running bike, plus $8000.00 for my truck.
(sorry, no Sportsters please. I love 'em all, but I know these won't work for what I need.)
I love FXR's and FatBoy's, but will gladly look at whatever you may have.
My truck is a 1950 Chevy Panel Truck/ Hot-Rod/ Rat-Rod.
It's powered by a very good running Buick 350/350 auto combo, taken from a
Buick Regal. The tilt stearing, was installed, and so was the entire front clip
from the donor car...so it has the independant front suspension, brand New disk brakes,
and New front shocks. It has an electric fan, all 12v electrical system, new brake and
gas lines, and a New Edelbrock carb. It has dual 2" coated exhaust. The rear end
is from a Camaro, and has booster airbags for toting a trailer. It has a bench seat from a '94 Chevy pick-up. It also has the air-conditioner, and the cruise control...but they're not hooked up yet. It runs on Coker Wide Whitewall Radials...with about 80% tred on them,
on Cragar SS rims that have been powder coated.
This truck runs beautifully. I've taken it on many trips throughout the NorthWest.
From San Fransisco on up to Seattle. It cruises on the freeway very
comfortably. It is a super fun truck to drive, and gets gobs of attention wherever
you go.
I am a custom painter by profession, and I will remove my business logos when the
truck is sold (or traded).
I hate to see it go...but I recently bought a late model van and don't want to see this
old girl sit. She was my daily driver for the last 5+ years.
I'd like to pay off whats owed, and get another bike...interested in dealing???
(it does have a clean/clear Oregon title.) As always...do NOT post on this or any HAMB ad...send a PM.
