It is marine, not Police Interceptor. I have a couple, but none on a running car. Pretty neat looking, and should work fine on the street on a mild motor. Not a whole lot of CFM's through those Carters though.

I saw one at a swap last year going for about $200 or so, if I remember correctly. It would look alot cooler than my 4bbl intake does. Let me know if you get it, I'd like to see pics of the finished project.
What would you do for the water passage that USUALLY goes from head to head through the intake? I can't see a thermostat housing either. Am I looking at it wrong?

The water passage is actually 2 small elbows that bolt onto the heads and run to the exhaust manifolds (marine remember). There is no thermostat in the boat. I was gonna modify them to hook together in the middle to one of those independent thermostat housings like the roundy-racers use. Then on to the radiator.
Did that auction include the elbows? They are a little complex in how they bolt on, but could probably be fabricated if missing.

Those carbs alone are worth 2-3 times what the bid is so far. They are the only other application for the side draft Carter besides the 235 Corvette and Vette restorers are always paying big bucks for them.
