Wonder if anybody here can help me.I found a frame that is from a mid 30`s to mid 40`s truck. Is there any way to ID a frame from the front shock mounts? This is all that is left on this frame other then the cross members.I`m working on getting pics of it this week.So any pics of frames from that time would be a great help. Thanks

what makes you thi k it was a truck? Lots of 30s cars shared the frame with the pickups. Does it have the Ford X center? Does it have the distinctive mopar rear crossmember? Does it have the Chevy knee action shocks? give us a pic

I`m thinking it is a truck cause it has 4 front cab mount on the outside of the frame where the cab would have sit and it.No X members. There was the remaians of a cab on the ground next to it.Steel floor is the only thing I can ID and a firewall that steps in the middle about 3 inch.Don`t think it had wood in the framing of the body. All I can tell you till I post a pic is that it has shock mount bolted to the outside of the frame up front and thay take the stander shock used today.

This page describes 48 to 56 Ford F series truck shock setups. Dodge/Fargo was similar. Don't know if it helps or not.
Is this truck up past Holyrood? If it is it's a Dodge, the frame is cracked and the shock brks are stripped. Been there...sorry! F fun hundreds (https://www.johnsf100.com/4856shop/images/PAGE_58.gif)

48-52 F1 Ford truck...Early Dodge/Fargo is much the same but a little shorter. Should grab the brackets at least!
Does it still have a steering box or axle setup?
You hoping to build something around that thar frame?
Hows the Bucket coming along? Did you get the engine assembled?
