View Full Version : The best kneeling pads in the world!

Here's another item I made at the request of a friend of mine, and he feaked out about it being so good, and well, I made one for another friend, and thought I'd see if you guys might want them also. (Still trying to raise $ for the '28 Coupster Build!)

If you work on your knees all day, or even half the day, and you don't use the best kneeling pad you can, you'll end up like me-early 50's, and I can't hardly walk, because I spent the first 20-25 years or so that I did metal work and restorations just dropping to my knees on the freakin' concrete, and going at it with the hammers and dollies and grinders-I never gave it a second thought-I sure do now! If you're 25, maybe you can get away with it, but I'm telling ya, you'll pay for it one day...I wish I had used this pad the entire time I did this kind of work-I can't even kneel down now-no way, no how...

These pads are a special laminated 1"+ thick sandwich with a closed cell, synthetic EPDM rubber center, and industrial grade, high density, closed cell Neoprene laminated on top and bottom. Something about this combination makes these pads unlike anything offered before. We've all seen them, the neon polyester molded foam gardening pads, with the flowers silkscreened on them at the home and garden store? Well, this is nothing like those. The density of the neoprene spreads the load, and the softness of the center, absorbs it. You could kneel on GRAVEL with these pads, and not notice it. They feature a suede cowhide bottomside, to keep it from sliding around on painted concrete floors, and a heavy weight, (4oz) leather topside, (with the new Keven Carter designed logo!), so you can easily reposition yourself on the pad if needed...all done in Black Leather, what else? The finished seams are double stitched. They also feature a sewn and riveted handle, so you can hang them on the wall, or on your tool box. They are 22" wide, by 14" deep by about 1 1/4" thick.

My buddy is a fleet mechanic for 30+ years and swears he's never used anything as nice-he said he bought a kneeling pad from a supplier for $89.00, and it was junk compared to these...

The materials for these aren't cheap, so I need to get $75.00 each out of them. They weigh about 5-6 lbs each, so shipping won't be too bad. PM me with your zipcode for shipping cost.

If you think about it, it's not a lot of money to save wear and tear on your body. So you younger guys, you're not indestructable, and if you do enough of this kind of work, one day your knees will likely give it up, so if you don't buy one of these, at least use SOMETHING to cushion your knees on the concrete floors-don't be foolish and ruin them like I did...I know I'd pay just about anything now to be able to walk normal again.

I take Paypal, check, MO, even a card over the phone-PM me for more info. Thank you!

I got mine from the brown truck today and will say this is the nicest pad I've ever seen, and comfy too! I work off and on my knees at my job on concrete all day and know how good and bad pads work. This is the real deal. Do yourself a favor and buy one of these bad boys, it looks like they will last forever.

Got two. One for myself and another for my son. Used 'em last weekend to do a brake job on my wife's car. Very good quality. Should last us a lifetime.

Thanks to all that stopped by the booth at Billetproof in Antioch, and at Hot Rod Revolution 2009!
