I made one of these by request, and posted some pics of it by accident, (I did not know the Gallery on my personal page feature was visible to ALL!), and received lots of interest, so I made a few more to sell, (still raising funds for the my '28 Coupster build). If there is interest, I may make them as a regular thing, to add to my Hood Straps and other stuff.
They are made of heavy weight suede cowhide, with a hemmed edge, and have all leather pockets and straps...in Black, of course. I'll also include a suede brush, so you can keep it looking sharp! These aprons feature a double stitched and blind riveted lower pouch pocket, with a flap to keep the metal shavings out, the pocket doesn't have exposed rivets or snaps to scratch your paint. The upper pockets are a double stiched and riveted cell phone pocket, (featuring the new Keven Carter designed logo!) two pen/pencil holders, and a loop to hold your safety glasses. The fully adjustable straps are designed like suspenders, and cross at your back, so the apron is carried on your shoulders, rather than carrying all the weight on a loop around the neck, (I just hate that!). Just pull on the strap ends at the shoulders to adjust them. There is also a waiste strap that ties at the back. All the straps feature snaps at the ends, so once you've put it on and adjusted it to fit you, all you need to do is unsnap the waiste tie, and one shoulder strap, and lift it off, so it stays properly adjusted, just for you-easy on, easy off. These are sized to fit most people from about 5'6" or so up to maybe 6'4", and they are pretty large-I'm a big guy, XXXL, and they fit me fine, and they also fit a friend of mine very well, and she's about 5'8" and 130lbs, so I think they're sized right. I can also make custom made ones if you need one larger or smaller, no problem. An apron like this I would normally sell for $139.00+, but the HAMBer friendly price for the ones I have now will be $109.00, plus shipping, probably USPS Priority Mail of $8.30...I can also ship UPS if it turns out to be less $$. I take Paypal, checks, MO's, even a card over the phone.
