My ex-roommate of 8 years and my brother's best friend since high school was driving his '94 Mustang GT home from my brother's house early last night. Details are sketchy but apparently a van made a left turn in front of him. He swerved to miss the van. He hit a pole and a concrete wall. His air bag did not deploy. He was killed at the scene.

Please take a moment to tell those that you care about that you love them. You never know how much time God will give you.

Life is often too short.

Rick

My thoughts are with you and your brother.

One of my dream jobs would be traffic cop in an unmarked car. Not for speeders, but for these irresponsible scumbags that do not pay attention when they are driving, or think that the only reason to turn on your blinker is to keep from getting a ticket, not to signal the person behind you. We need to get these fools off of our streets quick.

A sad story and good advice. Sometimes we need a wake up call as to what /who is really important. I'm calling my kids right now.

Yeah, It's the milliseconds in life that really count. They can change it all. Thanks for the wake up call, and I am sorry for your loss...truly...called my sis out of the blue before reading the post just because I haven't heard from her in a while. All I can offer is: above all else, make sure your friends and family know how much you care for them...because...you never know...
