Nuther plug for the silent auction at the HAMB DRAGS at MoKan. I am hoping for lots of art work to hang. Does not matter if you're a fresh noob or highly skilled pro. Bring it. Will be at Salina next weekend. Get it to me then, at the drags, or send it to me or stan292. THANKS to everyone who has stepped up so far. Check these threads.

It's not my artwork...but i thought i'd share. Unkl Ian started out using pre-made wings and adding epoxy for an eyball and painting them fashionably. He has really stepped up his game by making from scratch these pewter eyeball pins. He is a real craftsman and has been branching out into precious metals. Anyway I liked my pin from him THIS much! :D

Hi guys.

Once again, we have found ourselves looking at some fantastic work.

My contribution this week is some photography by myself.

I took these photos in Melbourne, Australia last week.

At a cats place by the name of Adrian. I believe he is on the H.A.M.B but am unsure of his username.

Also a couple pictures of Rat Bastad's 32" deuce coupe and Aboned's 30" Model A coupe. Was an awsome day. A credit to all of them for the fantastic work they have produced, and are still producing!!!!

Enjoy!!!!

Well this will be the first post I have ever made in the Friday Art Show but here goes.......

This is a set of tanks that I shot for a guy here in town and these were taken before they were picked up to be buffed out. The base is a GM blue from around 2008 and the ghost flames are shot in Red, Green, and Violet pearl with about 25 or so coats of clear to bury them. The bike is going to be in American Iron magazine in a few months.

Saturn painting seems to be working the best. Neat textures.

They are not intended to be an exact representation of the planet. Saturn is the only one I dont like because it jumps out to much as Saturn. The actual names of the pieces do not really show the name of the planet.

Thanks for the complement!

I love your work. I have been working on my figure drawing and paint skill the most. I really like how you use color and your brush marks are wonderful.

Here are a couple of my latest. The second one was a commission. Not something I usually do... but since I'm broke as a joke, I thought I would take it on. Managed to scam my way into having a solo show at the Howl Gallery in Ft. Myers. Also had to attach one of my van I just pimped out... which getting a nice photo of is for sure an art!

Paintings are oil on canvas
Van is oil on pavement

More great stuff everyone! Plenty 'O talent here for sure!

Just a quick reminder about donations to the upcoming HAMB Drags Silent Auction - tobenefit of one or more HAMBers.

August is just around the corner so if you're planning to help out, it's time to get something in the mail (or, of course, you're welcome to bring it with you if you're lucky enough to be attending the Drags). Anything you can spare is greatly appreciated.

If you have "flat" art, like posters, paintings, prints, photos, etc., they come to me. I'll make sure that stuff gets safely mounted for display at the track.

For "3-D stuff" - shifter knobs, tiki items, sculptures, pinstriped panels, etc., send those to:

Thanks again for your support.

I have a question for the pencil and paper artists. What kind of success have you had if you have set up as a vendor at an event like the good-guys show or something from NSRA. I had a booth at the GG show in columbus and barely broke even. please PM me if you don't wanna post on the forum.
