I still haven't decided what I am going to do with my big ass roadster (1947 Seagrave firetruck). I was surfing the net and found this. It is a different kind of truck from mine, but what do you think about the rear fender treatment?

I think I prefer it without the skirts. With big shiney Alcoa wheels.

I've seen skirts on a truck and I like it. I plan to make some for my 35 Ford pickup.

I like skirts...do it. Now if you could just find some 22.5 (or whatever size) whitewalls...

One of my students today suggested using some semi tires for his bling bling wheels.......

There is a shop somewhere that converts 22.5" rims to 22" (turns down the beads?) so that modern low profile tires can be installed. I saw pictures of a set on a lowered Ford dually and it looked kinda cool. (expensive as hell...but cool)
I wouldn't mind running across a deal on a pair of "super single" wheels and tires for mine.

I don't know... I dig the skirts. They look pretty cool... probably because I've never seen skirts on a fire truck. Suprised they actually made those for it... I'd think they'd be a hastle more....

I like em, not to mention, then you would only have to buy 2 nice, shiney wheels for the front, can't see the rears.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif To....
