I have been around Dante on several occassions while he is working on customer cars... methodical, calm and collected he will carefully put things together while explaining the process to anyone that cares to listen. Deadlines, communication with the customer, and quality are paramount.

Pricing is extremely fair, he works from his garage and is trying to build a name for himself. Like Donnie said, better get him while he is on the cheap. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Dante is the real deal folks, I believe we will be seeing great things from him in the future.

edit - i agree with Praise the Lowered about Donnie's capabilities, if he is making recommendations.. that speaks volumes.

I took a '54 chevy truck cab to Dante recently because there was damage to both door jambs from collisions that I couldn't even begin to figure out how to straighten out. Dante isn't "just" a custom guy and it requires one set of skills to chop tops and fabricate stuff from scratch, and another set of skills to trace collision damage through a body and figure out how to push it and pull it. . . he knows how to do it all.

Also, my truck cab had sat out in the desert for ten years and had small dents all over it from rock throwing kids' target practice. I turned it over to Dante with the request to "fix everything" . Whenever I have done that in the past i always figure i will have to point out a bunch of stuff that was missed in the end. . . but Dante found dents and flaws I hadn't noticed and fixed it ALL. He seems to forget it's your car when its in his shop and treats it like it was his and he's going to drive it and look at it everyday.

Bottom line. . . he has the skills and he gives a shit about doing it right.

I'll post before and after pictures when i get to the block sanding phase so you can all marvel at the smoothification.

-edit- I just noticed there are photos on his website. . . check it out there. . .notice the fucked doors that don't close and the millions of tiny dents in the before pictures

I want to also point out that lownslow's endorsement should carry some real weight since his own high quality work depends on good bodywork as a foundation.

Dante is doing a total redo on my 54 Chevy as I write this.
I took my car to Black Widow Kustoms for one reason. I wanted my car DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.

I am extremly happy with the progress.

Don't think twice to get work done by this young gun.
