well i'm getting ready to build my son an airplane themed roadster for his 21st b-day(he graduates from aviation school and turns 21 this coming up april) so i thought what a better way to celebrate the beginning of his career choice than with a roadster decked out with aviation stuff, bomber seats gauges rivets everywhere, ect ect, but in turn i need to make some room, so i'm gonna sell the toad.
its a 1956 buick special original 322 nailhead, auto trans, 83000 miles with 2800 miles on it already this summer so yeah its dependable, its shows well needs some work but is very solid, doors fenders quarters inside the trunk is solid and stays dry. ect, ect, all in good shape. chrome cleans up pretty nice too. have all chrome except hood ornament and it goes with car. interior needs some work (seats have some tears as does the headliner. the dash is in perfect shape...... new stuff........ starter, voltage reg. cap rotor, condenser, points, ballast resistor, spark plugs, new rebuild kit in stromberg carb. brand new acdelco battery. comes with extra power steering gearbox and powersteering pump. as well as an underdash a/c unit and compressor(newer unit from vintage air) has new brake shoes front and rear, hardware kits, along with all four new wheel clyinders, new metal lines and one new drum (others turned) she stops like it should. custom paint on roof and decklid, long with pinstripes everywhere. comes with wide white walls that are two years old according to the dates on tires, they are not dry rotted and have 10/32nds of tread, SO if your looking for a car to jump in and drive while you fix the little things here it is, fly in and drive it home. $3800.00 will knock up to 800.00 off for and upright bass (older) pm me if you have any questions, thanks george
