WE LEARN FROM OUR RULERS,........... with expressions in ART, MUSIC, FASHION, STYLE, and ATTITUDE, and we REJOICE with the CHAOS and DAMAGE AND TURMOIL that the EFFECTS of these simple decisions CREATE............

SKATEBOARDING will NEVER be the SAME,
THE KIDS have NOTHING on this FOREFATHER...

WATCH THE HANDPLANT REVERTS......

INSANE for a dude who is in his 40's.............

WALK with a RULER
and SWING the HEAVY SLEDGE.
or BE a FOLLOWER.
and SWING the BALL PIEN......

XOXOXOXO

DOG BOWL LOVE.

Very cool, Germ. Duane was one of my skate idols in the late 70's and early 80's.

"yeah... it could even be about cars..."

Oh come on now, if it dealt strictly with Cars, it wouldn't be a Germ(tm)Post, would it?

And with good reason, DanB.
If you never felt the skin on your back tear off at the bottom of some abandoned pool, you won't understand..
The adrenaline o.d. of shutting down all your buddies,KNOWING that betties await...yours for the taking....
Whatever 5000 is, I don't care,I'll smoke it like it was my last cigarette....

I found a HEAVY SLEDGE in the road yesterday.

Musta fallen off some Sloppy Contractor's Shit Truck.

(Either that or Thor got his ASS KICKED in front of a grade school! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

Had to make a second pass to scoop it up...amused the kids as I flung the door open and grabbed it in one well-practiced sweep! They admired the new artifact!

Somewhere in Michigan, a Gay Roofer or Sewer Tech is looking for his Heavy Sledge...

...Or Thor is crying.

Don't imitate your Rulers or it'll make you a follower.

Scoop up the Heavy Sledge and Rule YOUR way! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

(Eagerly awaiting five grand in Macho Michigan!)

My first skateboard (around 62 or 63) was a board with modified roller skate parts attached. Longer axle bolts and dual wheels worked real good. No hills around, so we towed each other with a rope behind a 10 speed bike, or grabbed door handles on cars if ya had the balls. I did a "Bun Buster" graphic on it and my mom freaked out.

I rode one of them around that time too till I got a ride on a Cooley "Bun Buster", one of the first commercial skate boards, then It was all over for 2x4s and steel skate wheels.
I had mine about a week before notching the board for tighter turns and painting it candy lime gold.

I haven't got a clue what germ was talking about, don't know the names named, probably woudn't care much if I did, but I suspect they were in their prima about 20 years ago.

Yeah BFTWCS??

does that mean?
BUTT FAIRYS TAKE WHATEVER CARS SUCK?

or how about...

BIG FAGGOTS TRUCK WOULD CARRY SNOW?
or BETTER YET

BETTER FIND TOWS WHEN "COOTER" SHOUTS??

You should call UNCLE JESSIE and ask him if he has the OWNERS MANUAL.... and while YOUR looking for DIAMOND PLATED running BOARDS and PLASTIC GRILL INSERTS and SNOW TIRES... I'm building 2 TRADITIONAL hot rods, and a CHOPPER.................. not to mention getting 5000 POSTS, smoking weed and ruining you with WORDS of HELLFIRE........

Oh and RYAN?

JAY ADAMS? couldn't even DREAM of PULLING a "DISASTER" to a REVERT back into 12 feet of BALLS out VERT WALL...... let alone an OPPOSITE HANDED, HAND PLANT from a FAKIE, back into a REVERT blindside............................back into the pool.......

and DUANE PETERS went all the WAY AROUND the FULL PIPE upside down............ while JAY ADAMS modeled T-SHIRTS...........

JAY ADAMS is a RULER,,,,, for sure,,

BUT not EVEN on a LEVEL as DUANE..........

JAY ADAMS danced around on his SKATEBOARD,
and fell out, while TRUE RULERS. like THE GODOY BROTHERS, JEFF GROSSO and DUANE KEPT it HARDCORE.....
AND still RUN it today......

LATER
FELLAS...

Lay off the Crack Pipe man, the insults may come to your Brain a little quicker that way, and we won't have to wait so long to be enlightened by your great Wisdom....

Peters? Adams? Accolades for either would be well deserved but ultimately they are nothing but pictures in magazines to me. Scot Brazleton and Paris Remillard rule 'em both because I tore shit up daily with them for years and years..... friends

Edit: That's some great video by the way.

All we had was a car hood behind an old pickup truck!
Oh, and places like the North Shore. Pipeline rules I don't give a shit who's riding it! Same for Waimea. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

you could use LOUDMOUTHS hood on his truck, I'm sure he'll go hoodless and fenderless in his pursuit of the traditional hot rod battle cry..

Lucky for me, I got into cars before I got a scateboard. I'd probably be plastered on the side of a building at the bottom of a hill like a grasshopper on a Deuce grill! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I wasn't too bright in my younger days. I dove off Waimea falls on a second grade field trip. My old man kicked the shit outa me and grounded me for a month for that one. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Never felt the need for skis to fall off a mountain eiher. I'm perfectly capable of falling on my ass just getting to the car in the driveway! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
