Change user name

I just set-up a new computer and I had forgot my password. When I went through the process of changing it I somehow screwed up and changed my Log In, User Name. How can I change it back? If I don't change it what happens to anyone replying to me prior to the change?

just log in as your old name and hit the prompt to reset the pass word, it will send you a email to the registered address and then you can log in as your old or original screen name.
