does anybody have any part sources for 59 dodge pickup replacement/repair panels. I've searched all the junkyards in a 100 mile radius and only found one useable fender. i can't find anything on the net or hemmings. any help would be apreciated. Thanks for your time. gregg

What parts are you looking for? Most mechanical parts can swap over a few years, cab parts should fit a 58 & 59 and are likely the same from pickups through tractor trailer cabs, bed parts cover several years, esspecially step side boxes. Weather stripping and rubber for the glass and a few odds & ends can be found at: www.robertsmotorparts.com (http://www.robertsmotorparts.com) There is a yard around here that has a few picked over late 50s Dodge trucks, but don't expect anything near perfection. All reality is you better expect to make what ever you need, then if you find something it won't look so bad. Welcome to the land of "You got a what? and You want what for it?? How much money you got boy?" Mopar trucks. Hope this helps some, Gene

Thanks for your help Geneboth on this subject and the one about the engine comparision(230vs318). I've made rust repair parts for the right fender but the left fender is pretty well toast.(accident damage. i'll keep looking for a donor truck and get really good with a hammer and a dolly. thanks for your time Gregg http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
