Just sent in my bread for the scottsdale goodguys show, was thinkin who else is planning the trek out ?
Fri there will be a cruz to local shops ,an open house party to follow .Also talked to the guy in charge of the swap area and he said it should be a great one !Sat night the pavilions in scottsdale is always packed , but if ELPOLAKO aka steve is hosting the sat night party that will be the place to be !This year they also have a shuttle bus to the mall , interesting idea. 14th-16th nov .
GOOD LUCK DON !ya got my vote again .

Not making it this year. Last year I took my parents on a "Fantastic Voyage" Flew inta PHX went straight to the GG show then to Tombstone, Nogales, Tijuana, SanDiego/Ocean Beach and back to PHX. Was only a lurker then so I knew absolutely no-one and we still had a greatime at GG. You people run around with bare metal cars???Last about 5 minutes(literally) in the nice humid air here! The gg show was the reason I came home and tossed out my brand new '27 'glass body in favor of rusted steel!

I'll be there, for sure with the '28, maybe also the Truck.
Hot Rod Ron's '32 Coupe won't be running yet, so he'll need something to drive, right?

I will be there too. I think the Miss's is taking my 68 truck with ice chest, bbq, chopper bicycle and easy-up for a little more fun.
The e-z up will be there for some shade, I get my uncle-melonoma ( see uncle buck ) removed the monday before.

My work place ( Hughes Performance ) is on the friday cruise list.

Since the 700r4 is the current choice of many roodders it was suggested to us to have a 700r4 on our tranny dyno for some demo runs. We will show why the TV cable hook-up on a 700 tranny is so important with the pressure guage on the dyno.

Since I am the 700 guy at work my "shore leave" for the friday shop cruise has been cancelled.

I am already entered in the GG show, so I can dazzle people with my Dodge... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

El P's BBQ sounds good. We really enjoyed the last visit.

Tony, where is Hughes and when is the open house? I'd like to see that demo. I emailed you yesterday, too.

Hughes is at 2244 west Mcdowell rd. On the corner of 23rd and McDowell just barely EAST of the I-17 freeway, north side of the road.

You should have the answer to your email

I will be at GG's and IC. Both were great last year. Not sure about the Fri shop tour. I would like to see that trans demo.

Deyo, can't find that phone number. I assume he is in the phone book but I have not checked. You need to get that car on the road before GG's.

Deyo get to the goodguys show early enough fri and go on the shop tour s.I have done that tour 3 times now its a good thing !The last stop will be at the host fri night party !
Funny thing about steves personal chef, she could make grease and dirt taste awesome !For those who did not chow down last year at IC "it was the best".So good that total strangers came in to eat , guess the dogs were busy eating too .

Deyo, If you are interested I might need someone to drive one of my vehicles. I plan to take my Buick, my truck full of ice chests, food, BBQ and my chopper bicycle, and that black A rpu because it is for sale.

Yes RIBS!

along with "traditional burgers and dogs" I will also supply beverages, if you want the adult kind you are responsible for those yourself.

as far as Celeste's cooking abilities go, she can make a tasty meal out of practicaly any batchelors pantry, but rocks and dirt, no. Check her website out! (http://www.geocities.com/chefngirl73/)

I am going to be there for sure and driving Metalshapes new 60 Ford truck with Halibrands or his roadster right? The 32 is not going to make it in time so will have to wait until the next show that you fellow Hamber's in phoenix say is a good one to go to. We will all be there on Saturday and then over to El Placko's for some good eatin. We will be on I-10 Saturday moring heading up there so if you see us give a wave or finger your choice.
