Greetings. I found this forum through a link on another forum and was instantly hooked. Tons of good info, photos and characters!

I've had my main ride, a 68 AMX for over 25 years. It's a 390, 4-speed car with all the factory goodies. Nice car, but no trailer queen. This car is a driver that gets a few hundred miles from home from time to time. If there are any AMC nuts out there, I'll post some pix.

My new project is a 61 Ranchero. It's a real heap right now, but I'll go completely through it and have a pretty good plan for bringing it back from the dead. I'll do all the mechanical, body/paint, and other work in my garage, except a few items like machine work. It's the only way I can afford it, but it's also how I like to do things. When it's finished, I can say it's really mine.

The tech articles and info on this site will be a big help on this project.

Welcome to HAMBalot.
I'm an old Doo Dah Guy. Coming down next week to do some visiting.
Early AMX's and early Rancheros are two of my favorite cars.
