Today was the big day. Iīve carried all kind of junk into my garage for a few months. This evening my T-Tudor rolled out at the first time! I can eventually see what it really looks like! And it looks as long and low as it should be, or what do you think? The next target will be that Cad Flatattack, it will be equipped with 4x2 Weber36 and straight exhaust pipes. Hereīs some pictures of this evening, Iīm sorry the pics are so damn dark but itīs pretty dark here in wintertime, you know.

Today evening when I got my Tudor rolled back in, I assembled some RPU-parts on the floor. Iīm going to sell it as a project in order to finance my both Tudors.

Whoaa! Hyvä means good, gotta dictionary out there? Yes, I will send some photos taken between 11:59--12:01. Well, thatīs not the whole true, it was a half past five when I took those pics so it is possible to see some light!
Elvis: snow melted already for a while, sad. I though it would have been a great deal to send you some pics of a traditional hot rod surrounded by SNOW!!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Good question Pete, You caught me. The answer is something not so "period perfect". The rear end is 77-Caprice Classic Sedan 10-Bolt unit with home-made fourlinks and turned steelies. Itīs the only over-forties part in my project and Iīm not proud of that. But the lenght was OK and I got it cheap. And it suited fine with 15-inch kickup!

Thanks, I appreciate this. The engine placement was the hardest think this far. Once I was sure it will no way fit! As you can see I donīt have a firewall yet and also the engine room is pretty long. By the way, the engine isnīt from the car. It is from the TANK! It has been in WWII in States and it has been rebuilt in 1944, thereīs a plate in the gearbox to prove... After the WW and the rebuilt the engine served our country in some kind of practising tank. Pretty cool isnīt it! I bought it from Jaypee, thanks again Jani. And yes, itīs heavy shit. I broke my engine lift and also my first front main leaf... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I dont know what your plans are for later, but I suggest not leaving it in primer, that car deserves a cool paint job. Really cool ride! good luck with the rest of the project!

Thanks pal! Maybe you could suggest me some paint. I will listen. The frame, axles and things like that will be shiny white and the Cad mill will get some gold. First I thought pure steel body surface, then I planned some steel-flakes-varnishing combo and now I really donīt know! The old steel is pretty pitted, I should gring it more. Pure steel will also rust for sure (no rust anymore), flakes are too sixties-style and so on. Actually itīs not in primer now, itīs rusty but grinded. Color things are always difficult, arenīt they!
And thereīs one tiny sad thing I forget to mention. My T will be totally illegal here in Finland... Those damn Finnish law-makers donīt understand the real hot rods! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I think the wheelbase is too long, but, that last pic does look kool. I really like the Caddy flathead. Neat choice. Pull about 4" outta that wheelbase from the radiator forward.

Thank you gentlemen! I will send some engine shots when I have done something for it (and when it runs...)! Yes, I like the stance too thus the rear is now higher than I thought. You can see some wooden balks behind the T. The doorstep was too high for sure!

Well, a matter of taste. I like it long and low. Some vintage dragster style a bit. I aped that from Yngrodderīs great vintage hot rod! I also bought a few days ago a Hot Rod Magazine Yearbook -63 and there was one pic of the same kind of modification but I had done mine before. I might add some Moon gas tank or something in front of the radiator.
