I went to the Rotterdam harbour today, to pick up a box with M/C parts which I got during my holidays in California.
I think some of you might like some of this stuff so I'll post some pics...

Here's some of my peanut tanks...

http://img71.exs.cx/img71/7506/30ae.jpg

Which came with their original weld on brackets. pretty cool to know that someone has been packaging these 40 years ago... And that they're on my workbench now.. Still in the old wrappers..

Spool hubs.

A 19" spool hub wheel, with stainless spokes, a new Excel rim and a new Avon Speedmaster.

The other thing I did today was to check out a '32 Tudor Sedan.
Now you'll probably say: "A while ago you post that you wanna stick with bikes for a while, and now you're gonna check out a '32..?"
Well... I'm always interested and ready to check out a '32 and this might be the only steel one in our whole country. So... you never know..
But... The guy said over the phone that it was in great condition. He told me all the glass was there, the body and frame were in super condition and there was only a little rust at the fender mounts. Only the wood work had to be redone and the interior was gone. Well he was right about the last two things...
I wish I had some tools with me.. Then I could at least have taken the grille with me. That goddamn jerk let me drive all the way up there to take a look at this...

It's really too much for me. I'm a perfectionist.. So this car would at least take me 4 to 5 years to build. I don't know if I have the patience for that... Maybe if I have the room for it to do it one day. Who knows...
if it would've been in better condition I might have bought it.. But not like this.

BTW... I just don't get it why people leave all this stuff outside here in the climate that we have. I think it's a damn shame! If you have all the money to afford these cars, at least put 'em in a dry barn!!
He's asking $7500 for that '32 without motor and trans.

That sedan have been advertised in Sweden as well, I hope no one made the drive for that car. It's a lot of money too for an english-bodied '32, they require loads of work if all the wood needs to be replaced.

You had better luck with the cycle parts though, looks good!

That could be... he told me he got the car from Danmark.

he advertised with a very tiny picture... A very tiny one. And exposed the only the "good" side, with the door in place.

Too bad on the Deuce, Maurice. Not at all like he described it. Good score on the Bike stuff, though. You certainly weren't wandering about aimlessly while you were here. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Wayno

Can anyone tell me the differences between American and Euro bodied '32's... I only knew of the suicide doors.

I think they are the same up to, and including the cowl. The english body is built around a wood structure like the model A. Also, the top and windows look more "squarish", almost like a blend between U.S. '32:s and model A's.
I bet there are more technical differences, I only know of the visual ones.

Hi Maurice, I,ve known this guy for at least 20 years,
He,s overpriced and gets pissed off if a potential customer
comments on his wares or eventually buys somewhere else.
He has the typical attitude "let it rot"
I guess every one knows someone like this.
Now then , heres my 32 Tudor.

All mechanicals and chassis are the same as US and Aussie
32s. Apparently the main difference is only the main body.
Heck, factory suicide doors on a Deuce sedan sounds good
does,nt it. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
