Zing a frame

anyone done this?? seems pretty simple.

but im sure its not.

thought there was a post on this in the past, but i could not find it.

never done it but make the new part of the section of the frame being z'd, however much you want it z'd, weld it all up, then cut the section out of the old frame seems easy enough to me
