Been on this board every now and again, just reading, for awhile now so figured I'd better dive into the deep end and introduce myself properly. I'm a long-time rodder and gearhead. Have always loved the traditional stuff; having built and driven a couple of dropped-axle-equipped '39 Fords as well as early-sixties cruisers and (don't shoot me now!!) VW's too. Current ride is a '64 Nova 2-door, which is for the moment tucked away in need of some TLC.
I'm also an ex-autoparts guy with a fair collection of older aftermarket parts catalogs, late-30's through early 50's Hollander interchange books and '59 through '64 GM Mitchell bodyshop manuals. I'd be willing to research any of that info for you; just keep in mind that old guys like me can be kinda slow at times. I don't get on here all that often, so if I don't answer right away I'm not ignoring you.
Thanks, and pleez go e-z on the old FNG from the Gopher State!

Thanks all, appreciate the comments. Especially you guys from "Minnesnowda" - 90-some degrees on my street today. That'll make you glad you never filled the cowl vent!

Seesko - I'm damn happy too; just drug the Nova out of the corner this weekend, worked on it tonight and got it fired up and running. Gotta replace a door latch, change oil and a few other minor things before I can take it out on the road. It's not exactly traditional but until I can afford what I really want it'll have to do.

Billet - I gotta like a guy that uses a handle like yours on this board! Yup, my seatbelts work fine! ;)

Thanks guys.
